Requirements

Stop people copying the software
Require some kind of licensing / Activation so we know who is using it
Store application information so we can enable/disable bits of the application
work on desktop and mobile system
apply as a component
Reliable

Would be nice if

User can move the license around
Store license on HD / Network / Stick
Store multiple licenses in one file (for server)
Have different types of license in one file - eg 2xProfessional and 1xSurvey

Bonus If

Completely secure - The main aim is to make it Reasonably secure - ie stop the numpties

Current Systems

Simple passkey generation ties to location of application exe file
Allows multipkle licese in one file, but not different types of license
